ST PETER'S, WESTLETON

THE PARISH CHURCH AT THE HEART OF THE COMMUNITY

 

St. Peter's Church in Westleton, Suffolk, is a 650-year-old thatched church, famed for its chamber concerts and its annual wild flower festival.

In 2003 it launched an appeal to raise funds to make the building a more suitable venue for music concerts and other public events. This would involve restoring the organ and relocating it in order to accommodate a toilet, refreshment facilities and a vestry area.

This important project, which is now nearing completion,  is called. . .

better serve the spiritual and social needs of the whole community

fulfil the expectations of that community in the twenty-first century

enhance the experience offered by Westleton's beautiful fourteenth-century church
